Today we had 'Saraswathi Puja' in the morning.... Saraswathi Puja is done for Goddess Saraswathi...the deity for 'Knowledge'
This dress was finished at the very last minute and she wore it hot off the sewing machine, then took the skirt off to alter the waist and then again press it and then she wore it again hot, this time off the iron box....
ouch.... that was really hot....
what else to do, i manage to finish the top only today; sometimes i wonder how some dresses get finished off in a jiffy, while others never seem to get completed .....
she was in no mood for snaps to start with as i made her wait till i finish the dress and hence her playtime got wasted , she goes out downstairs to our residential colony's play area and has a whale of a time daily, today it was not to be and hence she was justifiably upset.....
later on she got into the grove and gave me some real goodies...here they are....
well now... she has gone down to play, that all our visitors for today have come and left..... she is freaking out downstairs.... while i am slogging out uploading the pics....

Your daughter is so cute. Your golu is great! So glad to have found your blog. Here, we are going to start the "books-pooja" this evening. So far, somehow we managed to at least light the lamps every evening since Navarathri started. I downloaded MahishasuraMardini sthotram and Devi SahasraNamam and play that after the fact every evening :-)
