Actually i couldn't get enough of her and hence couldn't restrain myself from posting all the snaps i took of her... here she is Rocking the Red Carpet [albeit shabby hair style, forgive her as she has bad hair stylist in Me :) ]
More Barbie doll cuteness coming up... now that this dress will be given away to Megha, my DD wants a new dress for her own Barbie, fair enough !!!!
This is gorgeous!! I am just learning how to sew, so this may be a bit advanced for me but my daughter has been asking me about making some Barbie clothes (she LOVES anything Barbie), so I will have to attempt something soon! Thanks for sharing this project!
ReplyDeleteWow! That Barbie dress is outstanding! I've tried to make Barbie clothes before and abandoned the idea! My hat is off to you! I've found you through the Friday Follows. Drop by my blog and say hi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your generous comments. I made bodice by draping so don't give up on making barbie clothes...the ones you custom make are far better than store bought done to death designs!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet! I would like one for me :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Making It With Allie! I can't wait to see what you have for next week!

ReplyDeleteThanks Patricia. Glad am able to make you smile. Enjoy.
CreativeMama.. the dress is very cute! You sure you want to part with this? I would very much like your DD to have it for her Barbie. :)
ReplyDeleteMegha! This was made for you as promised. So please do mail me your contact details, if you feel it right to share the same. After receiving your details, depending on where you stay, i will get back to you as how and when will the dress reach you.
ReplyDeleteSo nice of you to let my daughter have it, don't worry, I still have bit more of fabric left, so will do another for my Darling daughter to keep for herself.
