I am back after the wedding festivities.
Last week was hectic and you know what, i was sewing till the last hour before i got ready for the wedding reception! every time I sew a dress before a function, I promise to self as to not to repeat it again and finish off everything with at least a day to spare, to look fresh. But somehow plans go awry. There's always a next chance isn't it. let me keep trying
At last here are some pics (not from wedding though, these were taken during fit trial we did at home)
Features of Sister's Ghaghra Choli are:
Ghaghra
- Full Circle Skirt in Tissue with Satin half circle skirt lining
- Lace Trim at hemline (6.2 meters !)
Choli
- Princess seam at armhole with piping
- Pleated Extended Cap sleeve (This is quite simple, will post a mini-tute soon)
- Piped at sleeve hem
- Piped neck finish
- Zipper at Center Back
Will post pics of my DD's ghaghra taken on the day of reception, soon.
