Dhoti Salwar for Sister!
Salwar made using silk crepe and drapes beautifully. Wanted to make a kurta which would compliment the look perfectly, had got white embroidered fabric from bangalore which was just the right fabric, so made a simple kurta (without any darts!) and viola the ensemble spells class doesn't it?
Modesty at its best isn't it?
What do you say? Does the color combo work for you? What are the colors in which you would like to flaunt Dhoti Salwars?
Care to shop the look? Go ahead mail me or fill the contact form below along with your measurements

I came over here from Magda's blog; your creations are just beautiful! And I really love this ensemble you have pictured here too!
ReplyDeleteHi, Lovely dress. The top complements the salwar really well. I think if we add a glittery dupatta, it can double as party wear too.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the fabric for the top is chikan fabric. If it's indeed chikan fabric, I'd love to know where to purchase it in Bangalore or Chennai. Again great job with the dress.
Thanks Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteThanks Saliha! The white fabric is not Chikan but embroidered farbic i had bought it from Saree Palace in Commercial Street,Bangalore
Really appreciate you linking up this awesome post at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop :)
