Welcome to the world of sewing! If you are from India then i would suggest buying Usha fashion maker for domestic use. I have a singer but find it very difficult to get replacement of parts and needles, i seek help from friends abroad to get replacements. If you intend to do lots of sewing (ready more than 4 hours a day!) then i would suggest you go in for an industrial machine like Juki. I have an industrial overlocker from Sagar. Hope this was helpful
