Had cut this pattern (self drafted) sometime in May and lost track of it. Found it in stash and sewed it up to make Day 1 of KCW - Kids Clothing Week July 2013 count !
Basically extended the shorts pattern drafted earlier which was used underneath the Skort . Hem has opening through which the fabric ties are passed through , I didn't feel like using elastic at the hemline hence did the fabric tubes tied up style, which I quite love and will try similar hemline in future capris .
Pocket is slouchy and was drafted in big size and gathered using elastic and finished using contrast bias tape edged finish,
Action shot, here we go ... Yesterday she cleared Taekwondo exam and moved to yellow belt, so here she is in the mood to flaunt Taekwondo poses
Adithi's Amma Cooks and Bakes a lot these days and here are the Chocolate Brownie sizzler made yesterday to celebrate her yellow belt.
P.S. Dosai Kal doubles up as sizzler plate on top of chapathi chakla, indigenous idea isn't it , he he he !
